Garage Floor Coatings in Weatherford, TX

A showroom floor that laughs at hot tires, oil drips and dropped wrenches.

Flake garage floor, full room view

The garage is the most abused floor in the house and usually the ugliest. Our flake system fixes both permanently — and it's a process, not a bucket: diamond-ground prep, an epoxy resin base coat with full color-flake broadcast, a flex coat that moves with the slab through Texas heat swings, and a polyaspartic clear top coat with UV inhibitors. The result cleans up with a dust mop, hides the dirt between cleanings, and doesn't peel when summer heat bakes your tires.

Our system, step by step

What it costs

Most two-car garages land between $2,000 and $4,000 installed, driven by slab condition and system choice. Compare that against $600 of DIY kit materials plus a ruined weekend plus doing it again in two years, and the math usually settles itself. Firm number in writing after a free on-site measure.

Garage Floor Questions

What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

It's the wrong question — a floor that lasts is a process, not a single product. Our system is three engineered layers: an epoxy resin base coat for adhesion, a flex coat that absorbs temperature movement, and a polyaspartic clear top coat with UV inhibitors as the wear surface. Epoxy alone ambers and chalks in sunlight; a quality polyaspartic clear stays crystal clear. Plenty of competitors save money with an inferior top coat — and if the floor is yellow five or six years later, what did the savings buy?

Why do DIY kit floors peel?

Prep. Box kits go over concrete that was acid-etched at best, so the coating sits on the surface instead of keying into it. We diamond-grind every floor to open the pores, repair cracks and spalls, and test for moisture before coating — that is why professional floors last decades.

How long does a garage floor take?

Most two-car garages are one day on site: grind and prep in the morning, base coat and flake broadcast midday, top coat by afternoon. Walk on it that evening, park on it the next day.

What does a garage floor coating cost?

Most two-car garages in our area land between $2,000 and $4,000 depending on slab condition, repairs needed and the system chosen. Larger shops and heavily damaged slabs run more. Firm written quote after a free on-site look.

Do you do shops and commercial floors?

Yes — shop floors, small warehouses and showrooms. The same prep-first process scales up with higher-build systems where forklifts and equipment live.
